• The address and details of the property where work is quoted or carried out
• Measurements, photographs and notes you send us about your floor
• Quotation, invoice and payment records
• Basic technical data such as browser type and pages viewed on this site

How we use it

We rely on the following lawful bases:

• Contract — preparing quotations, scheduling work, ordering materials and invoicing.
• Legitimate interests — responding to enquiries, keeping job records and improving our service, balanced against your privacy.
• Legal obligation — keeping accounting and tax records.
• Consent — optional analytics cookies and any marketing email you opt into. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Sharing

We share only what is needed: timber and finish suppliers for made to order material, our accountant, our payment and email providers, and Google for the map on our contact page. We never sell personal data. Where a supplier processes data for us they act on our written instructions only.

Retention

• Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after 12 months
• Records of completed jobs, invoices and payments are kept for 6 years to meet HMRC requirements
• Site photographs are kept until you ask us to remove them

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
